STEVEN LE

Steven Le is a San Diego-based musician and producer currently completing his music degree at San Diego State University. He is a multi-instrumentalist with training in piano, guitar, and cello, and has performed with the SDSU Piano Ensemble, Gamelan Ensemble, and Mesa College Guitar Ensemble. Throughout his time at SDSU, he has studied piano under Dr. Karen Follingstad.

Outside of his academic work, Steven produces under the name Zephyr (prodZephyr), specializing in trap and trap metal instrumentals. His releases on Spotify and Apple Music have accumulated over 162,000 streams, and he has collaborated with notable producers including Skypierr, Cosmic, and Arvid Häggström. In 2024, he placed first in a beat battle competition hosted by KXVI, a prominent hip-hop producer, earning a $500 prize.

Steven's work spans both classical performance and modern music production, reflecting a background that combines formal music education with an independent creative practice in contemporary hip-hop production.

In his free time, he enjoys trying new restaurants, international travel, building computers, and discovering travel hacks with credit cards.
